Puppy Food Banks Welcomes Actor Giancarlo Esposito as New Celebrity Ambassador

Puppy Food Bank is honored to announce acclaimed actor Giancarlo Esposito has joined our mission as our newest celebrity ambassador, joining a passionate team of animal advocates including Ernie Hudson and John O’Hurley.

With three dedicated ambassadors joining our cause, Puppy Food Bank is expanding its reach and impact at a time when pet rescues across the country need support more than ever.

For Esposito, this partnership is rooted in a powerful personal experience. His lifelong compassion for animals began at around 12 years old when his family’s Labrador mix “Mr. Puppy” helped alert him and his brother of danger when a clip-on lamp short-circuited during their sleep. “Mr. Puppy” saved his life and forever served as a reminder of the deep loyalty and protective nature of dogs.

As his first official initiative, Esposito will serve as the face of Puppy Food Bank’s annual fundraising campaign in partnership with Rudy’s Bar-B-Q. From January 30 through March 15, guests at participating San Antonio Rudy’s locations can help save more pet lives while enjoying their favorite meals.

With every $10 contribution, Rudy’s customers will receive a $15 FREE-Bar-B-Q voucher for their next visit. All funds raised will go toward providing critical food supplies and resources to area pet rescues.
