Pledge Month 2025: Celebrating a Month of Giving and Saving Pet Lives

Every September, Puppy Food Bank launches its annual Pledge Month campaign — a dedicated 30-day push to rally support, multiply impact, and feed more shelter dogs than ever. From September 1 to September 30, supporters stepped up in big ways, and together we made an incredible difference.

During Pledge Month, pet lovers across Texas and beyond commit to giving — either via one-time donations or ongoing pledges. This year, our supporters also had the opportunity to participate in the Puppy Love Auction, an online fundraising event where bidders competed for unique items, with proceeds benefiting shelter pets.

Most Importantly, prominent attorney and philanthropist Thomas J. Henry generously matched every dollar donated (up to $80,000) — so each gift stretched twice as far in supporting our mission.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, volunteers, and matching partners, this year’s Pledge Month was a resounding success – raising a total of $140,059.

All funds raised during Pledge Month go directly toward providing pet food supplies to no-kill shelters nationwide. Because of you…
