Word of mouth is one of the most powerful tools for any nonprofit. That’s why having not only a supportive community spreading the word, but voices that can amplify the organization’s mission and encourage even more involvement is essential.

Puppy Food Bank is so excited and honored to have a new ambassador voice ready to jump on board to help them support even more pet rescues across the nation.

Forty years ago, Ernie Hudson became a prominent cast member in the ‘Ghostbusters’ movie franchise as the lovable ‘Winston Zeddemore.’ After appearing in over 100 Hollywood films and television series, Hudson can now add “Puppy Food Bank Ambassador” to his professional resume.

He will begin appearing in multiple PSA campaigns for Puppy Food Bank to encourage one time and monthly donations that go to providing the crucial pet food rescues need. “I love dogs and I’m proud to support an organization that is saving pet lives,” stated Hudson.

Hudson joins the Puppy Food Bank’s other pet ambassador, actor John O’Hurley, a former Seinfeld star and the co-host of NBC television’s ‘National Dog Show’ that airs each year on Thanksgiving Day.

“As a growing non-profit, we are blessed to have both these ambassadors not only promote our efforts but personally giving to our organization as well. It’s truly amazing,” stated Puppy Food Bank Executive Director, Danielle Gunter.
